road map to hiawatha
first travel to yarram either via leongatha or traralgon
get your bearings from the first map below
to hiawatha from yarram (via jack river and staceys bridge along the gorgeous albert river valley)
opposite the yarram hospital on the south gippsland hwy turn towards the hills up church rd
continue on church rd for 13 kms
turn right into albert river rd (sign-posted hiawatha)
continue 5kms along albert river road where there is a monument in the fork of the road
veer to the right (sign-posted hiawatha)
go 2.9 kms to dessents rd on your left
200 metres along dessents rd you drive through our gate
the road is bitumen and sign-posted hiawatha all the way from yarram
the only dirt road is the last 200 metres
